Janhvi Kapoor leaves for Switzerland with Manish Malhotra! Is it to inaugurate Sridevi’s statue?

According to the officials there, while Chandni wasn’t the first Bollywood movie to be shot in Switzerland, but it was the one that intrigued fans about the destination and got them to visit the country.

Now, late last night, pictures of Janhvi Kapoor at the Mumbai International Airport dropped on the web. Reports reveal that the actress, who recently made her Bollywood debut in Shashank Khaitan’s Dhadak with Ishaan Khatter, is headed to Switzerland. Is it for a movie or a vacation?

Well, we think it is neither. We believe that Janhvi has left for Switzerland to be there at the inauguration of her mother’s statute. It is no hidden secret and Sridevi and Janhvi Kapoor were really close. In fact, during the promotions of Dhadak, Janhvi has often broken down while answering questions about her mother. So, it is only fitting for her to attend this event and who know, may be she’s the guest of honour as well who will cut the ribbon and inaugurate Sridevi’s statue.

Meanwhile, ace Desginer Manish Malhotra was also travelling with Janhvi. Not only was he shot at the airport with the actress by the paparazzi but even Janhvi shared a photo of the designer in one of her Instagram stories.
